I decided to surprise my girlfriend and go all-out for our anniversary. I took her to a quaint little Italian restaurant near our place. I was pleasantly surprised to find that all of the prices were quite reasonable. For appetizers we each had a garden salad and shared a bruschetta. For the entrées, I had the grilled salmon, and she had the lasagna. We decided to pass on dessert, as we were too full from all of the other food. For drinks, we shared a bottle of merlot. Luckily for me, the wine made her a little tipsy, and we got to skip the dancing she was hoping on doing after dinner.

Phrases and Vocabulary used:
all-out – tried or did something to the fullest. We went all-out on our vacation and stayed in nothing but 5 star hotels. The L.A. Lakers went all-out in the fourth quarter and ended up winning.
quaint – having an old-fashioned charm that is interesting and unique. Ex. I bought a charming and quaint house from an old lady.
pleasantly surprised – to be surprised in a good way. Ex. I was pleasantly surprised with our accommodations. They were much better than I had expected.
Appetizers – a small dish of food or drink served before the main dish or entrée. Often salads and soups are served as appetizers.
garden salad – a simple salad with lettuce and a few vegetables
bruschetta – toasted garlic bread usually served with tomatoes, salt, pepper, olive oil, and garlic on top
The “ ” - In restaurants we often say “the” instead of “a” before food when we are ordering something specific. You could say, "She’ll have the tuna salad, and I’ll have the lobster".
Entrées – the main dish served in a meal.
pass – decide to not do something. In this case they decided not to eat dessert or they “passed" it.
Merlot – a kind of red wine
tipsy – feeling a little drunk and have a slight feeling like you might fall over. Ex. After 5 beers I started feeling a little tipsy.

Yours is the best ESL podcast I’ve ever listened to. And I guarantee you, I’ve listened to quite a lot. You are not only my English teachers, you are, (well, at least in some sense) my life teachers. Clever, easy-going, and full of positive energy. I deeply envy you, such a relationship between 2 brothers… do you want another one? I’d be delighted to fit in

Very good job! I listen yours podcast several month and they are probably (surly) the best English podcast on the world.
I really like listen this podcast not only for learning but for fun. I alleys fine out something interesting, something funny.
So learning isn\\\’t hard, is just the opposite.
Keep going man! I\\\’m waiting for more! You\\\’re awesome.

I enjoyed listening the podcast. I haven’t experienced yet eating in a Italian restuarant. It would be a great experience I think. I would try it together with my wife. I’m sure she would like it. I’m going to order some of food which you’ve mentioned in the podcast.

I really had a good time listening to this podcast.It was so much hilarious and it made me laugh although I don’t laugh easily:D You are really helping me improving my listening abilities and I’m gaining a lot of confidence as well.Hope you can continue making such good Podcasts and hope you can make enough money out of it ( I always try to click on Google links
-You two are always good enough to entertain listeners and you always do your best to teach us new phrases and words,but it might be a good idea to invite some one as good as you (maybe some friend or a celebrity ) to participate in making podcasts:)
