Movie Review: JUNO

Juno, a teenage girl with a very sarcastic sense of humor, gets impregnated from her best friend. She’s faced with several tough questions like whether or not to keep the baby, how to tell her parents, etc. I don’t want to tell you too much about Juno except that she is hilarious and you should watch the movie.
I love this movie. I think it’s absolutely hilarious. I’d say it’s somewhere between a comedy and a drama. If you can understand the comedy than you should feel great about your English abilities. The English level isn’t too difficult but the comedy is quite sophisticated. It’s not a slapstick comedy. A slapstick comedy is one really old kind of humor. Something like someone throwing a cake in someone else’s face is an example of slapstick comedy. Slapstick is a very physical type of comedy. I personally don’t usually find slapstick comedy very funny.

I have put the movie on my Netflix queue. There is a long wait for JUNO on Netflix which tells me a lot of people want to watch the movie. Some of my coworkers have seen the movie and almost all of them liked it. I am excited about finally receiving the movie and enjoying it.

I had a lot of fun with this movie, found it pretty interesting as well. AND don’t hesitate to take a look at the original soundtrack!! It’s really cool and turns you into good mood no matter the day you had.

i’ll definitely give it a look! and i’m having a suggestion for ya as well “beautiful mind”. it might be old or you might have seen it before but i’m going to suggest it any way.
it’s one of those movies in which you watch the movie through the eyes of very successful, and well respected Harvard university professor for like 2/3 of the movie and so you see every thing in the way he sees, all of a sudden while he’s giving a lecture, some people who you initially think are KGB come to the salon and catch him.
in the rest the camra is on a different angle … and you’ll told that the guy has had schizophrenia all this time..
you just can’t miss the movie. if you’ve seen this movie give me shout and i’ll tell you about another one you might like to watch!

i do agree with u.juno is thing between comedy & drama.my favorite scence is which juno wanted to say to her parents she ia pragnent the reaction of her parents is so funny

I saw this movie probably at least for 10 times
my husband couldn’t stand me watching it again and again “Nooo! Juno again? “:)) so many small innocent hillarious (at times heartbreaking) warm charming sequences, the music, the actors. The movie seemed to me that was filmed partially in Canada. some of the leading actors are Canadians. I live in Toronto and some places reminds me of Canada or North US.( the weather, the suburbs. II didn’t understand every piece of slang but overall I loved it. loved it. loved it. loved it. loved it. loved it. loved it.
