Is there anyone here who does Yoga?  What do you think about it?  What kind of health benefits do you notice from doing it?  Do you find it helps you to relieve stress?  Do you find it helps for losing fat?

I like yoga! Yoga helps me keep myself fit and be in excellent mood.
I've got an office job, I've been spending 8 hours or so in front of my laptop. So at the end of work hours the muscles of the neck, shoulders and the back are in tension and painful. And often I'm tired emotionally rather than physically. And here yoga comes and rescues me! Relaxing peaceful music mixed with sounds of nature puts negative emotions out of the mind.  Smooth, flexible movements and at the same time focused on strength and balance work perfectly for tensioned muscles. And back to balance.... My trainer says that to keep balance we must focus on ourselves, on our feelings, on our minds. So there is absolutely no place for bad, negative thoughts on my mind.  I leave yoga training with tons of positive emotions, a smile on my face and in harmony with my body (no stooping anymore Smiley )

Does it help for losing fat.... Yes, of course, doing yoga fat's gone. But I personally think it doesn't help much for it. I mean If the goal is to loose fat, yoga is not the best. Yoga helps to keep fit, to keep muscles toned.

It seems that's it Smiley

many weeks ago i started to do yoga......well i do not like it soooo much but that does not mind to say it is too useful....... it helps for concentration, relaxing, flexbility, and get strenght........but u do not feel in these things unless if u r patient and and try to keep your applying every day........to get the good resuts.....
being soooo beginner usually i get tired from excercises and have a muscle cramps Grin...... but with doing excercises usually  .......i will be more flexible, meditated, and more strong
the the matter is how to control yourself  and be patient........ Wink

Hello there!
I'm 18 and I'm doing yoga more than 2 years. I'm doing so called - ashtanga yoga - if it makes sense. It's a type of yoga for body. And to tell the truth..I helps much! Many things had improved since I've started to do it seriously. My mom actually did some yoga when she was younger, so she helped me to begin, Had learned different breathing techniques. At first it was hard times though...Acking in muscles...and laziness...But if you have inner strength to continue despite all those factors, then it's good. My health is now much more better! I get cold only 1 time in a year (and only when I want to expirience sth new). And I feel kind of proud, when everyone who's lucky to witness my body flexibility, reacts - WOW! How are you doing that?  Grin I wonder, why lots of male think that yoga is a women thing to do? I don't agree..It helps to develop both body and soul.
