I found interesting channel on Youtube about life in Tokyo:

Share your opinion about this source.
I liked this show myself in general although there's too much about Japanese food.

are you good at Japanese?
I've discussed the role of English in Japanese everyday life with few friends from Tokyo.
And they admit that people in Japan don't deal with it too much.

I think you can know more about life there by talking with people from Japan.
I met bunch of people from Japan on
www.myhappyplanet.com
.
We've been talking over the Skype since we met on this web site.
Try it.
