I’ve been waiting for you guys to do a lesson on the world cup and been glued to TV myself since it started.
And right now, my country, Japan is gonna play against Paraguay. It’s gonna be the first time for them to get through to a quaterfinal if they win!
Please support Japan!
I know you guys like “flashy” ones but I guess you guys also wanna see the underdog wins, right?
Thanks for the lesson.

Cool, really good conversation about the most popular game on the world. You said everything what usually the opponents say. I would say that soccer is the best one because everybody, even in the worst country of the world, can play it. Just take some “shape ” as ball and play anywhere where is space to play it e.g. on street.
In Czech Republic we are keen of football (I mean soccer) and also ice hockey. And because our national team is not in the World Cup so I’ve chosen Argentina as my favorite team and of course because of Lionel Messi. Today, Argentina will play against Germany and I would say it will be one of the best game of this World Cup. I hope Argentina will win. Just 3 hours and we will know.

oh unfortunetly Argantina didn’t win and i think that was because of their coach as you know he had good players in the team but he didn’t have a certain plan to use them.he decided emotionally to manage his team*. there is an italian proverb that says:” good horse doesn’t cause a good horse rider.”

I watched every second of that Germany/Argentina match and was pretty surprised. I knew it would be a good match but once again I was impressed with the German team. They have really strong defense and no problem scoring goals. It’s too bad that Argentina had to play them so early in the tournament because they are 2 of the top teams in the world cup. I think it will be an easy road to victory for Germany now. The whole team plays really well together and they look pretty unbeatable in my opinion. I couldn’t believe how well they were able to stop Messi. The next match against Spain should be interesting. Spain looked good against Portugal but were pretty sloppy against Paraguay. I’m sure they will be prepared for a tough match with Germany. Too bad Brazil lost too.
Anyway, great world cup. I’m a soccer fan now!

so my tip didn’t go. Argentina is away. I don’t like Germany too much, but I have to say they played amazing soccer. Anyway the next match between Spain and Germany will be good as well. Spanish plays super and Germany too so we can expect a good match.
