    Very good lesson but I was wondering what is the meaning of the phrase “pipe up with” used at the beginning of the lesson? It doesn’t appear on the new vocabulary list.

    I just found out what “pipe up with.” It means “speak up or say something”, American slang idiom.
    Thank you for this lesson, I had the chance to hear this phrase for the first time and learn it, along with the other ones.

    She was piping up about her boring math class

    Danes pipe up with their own North Pole claims/ Danes speak up and say something about their North Pole claims
